I have been wearing these shoes since they came out several years ago. They are very comfortable and I know I can always count on a good fit, fair style, and comfort. They are versatile and great value.

I bought two pairs (one in black calf, and one in cafe) about 1-2 years ago and am still loving them. I wear them almost daily for work during fall and winter: whenever I'm wearing pants rather than a skirt. I have worn them on rainy days without any problem. They're comfortable enough that they don't need full inserts, but I did need to add heel inserts to prevent slippage. Occasionally the heel insert rubs in the back and I need a bandaid, but I don't blame the shoe for that. I hope Franco Sarto keeps making these, because I plan to buy the same exact ones once these wear out. I wish the heel was a little higher (an extra .5 or 1 inch would be ideal), but other than that they're perfect. Note; there was a short adjustment period - had to wear them in short bursts at first until the leather stretched out a bit on the top - so don't give up on them too quickly.
