I'm a woman but ordered a men's size Pinch Buckle loafer because men's lasts are generally wider than women's and I have a bunion that requires a wider shoe. Ordered a medium width and it is perfect. The shoes slipped right on and are as comfy as if I'd been wearing them for a month. No breaking in necessary. This is my first time wearing Cole Haans but it won't be my last. I ordered them because the sale price was about the same as the regular price for the Bass & LL Bean loafers I was interested in, but reviews of the quality & durability those brands discouraged me from ordering. The Cole Haan reviews were excellent, and I agree with them. My new shoes fit well right out of the box and look sharp. I trust they will wear as well as they look.
Great shoes, 5th pair I have purchased. They fit great out of the box and work in both casual and dress settings. The soles wear through a bit quicker than I like but it is worth it to me to have them re-soled. The pair this new pair is replacing have already been re-soled once.
