Bought these for my husband to wear to a Christmas party, he had been wanting a brown loafer. I thought these were a great looking shoe, looks to be well made and a timeless classic . They looked great with what he wore a chesnut pair of slacks they also look good with a dress jean. He said they are comfortable enough to wear for along time don't pinch toes or rub your heels . They are a great shoe that I'm sure will become a favorite , and the price for the quality of shoe was great! We had no sizing issue I ordered his normal shoe size and width and even not being "broke" in he found them comfortable for the evening. I recommend these to anyone who is looking for a classic shoe that doesn't go out of style .I ordered the burgundy but now he said he wants the same in black so they were a winner!
Handsome, comfortable and well-crafted -- what more can one ask for in a pair of classic tassel loafers that work with jeans, khakis or tailored wool slacks? Even a light-colored summer suit? The only problem is that like the pair they replaced, they will probably get worn beyond their reasonable life.
Have worn Cole Haans for years...always consistent quality, but they seem to be cutting them more narrowly now (Nike ownership???). Recommend going to an E if you're usually a D.
I purchased these online. The information said, the shoe should be ordered 1 size up, so I ordered a 13D. The shoes came, well- packaged. I was too large, so I knew this was a return. To be sure of a shoe fit, I went into the Nordstrom store in Oak Brook. The salesman was extremely helpful, and found a 12D. It fit perfectly. He did all the exchange paperwork and I walked out very impressed with Nordstrom and a "happy camper". Thanks. Will shop here again.
