I just bought another pair of these shoes for my husband. He says they are the most comfortable shoes he owns. He has many different styles of ECCO shoes including their gold shoes. He says these are the best. Would highly recommend them.

I purchased a pair of Ecco shoes this summer. Apparently, there was a flaw in one shoe that caused a sore on my foot. I finally decided to return the shoes and try another pair of the same Ecco shoes. I approached Gabriel with my problem and he immediately offered to exchange the shoes. He did not have a brown pair but found a black pair to see if the problem might be with the design of the shoes. The problem did not seem to be with this style of shoe but rather just isolated to the one shoe. He offered to order me a pair and did so, with no cost to me. When I returned home, I discovered that the address to be used to deliver the shoes was wrong...we had moved recently. I called Gabriel and he made the change by calling the place where the shoes would be shipped from, to make sure the address was correct. Wow....what wonderful service. Gabriel is a 'keeper'....a true professional and a nice person. I would highly recommend Gabriel to anyone....and I will return to him when I want to buy a pair of shoes in the future . These are the best comfortable shoes for me. I was amazed that even when I first tried them on, they were comfortable. No break-in period needed; though they did improve in comfort as I wore them. These shoes are also somewhat waterproof in rain; that is rain on sidewalks but not big puddles of course. The only negative about the shoes is that in spite of their thread design and probably due to the nature of the man-made material used on the soles (neoprene ?), this shoe can be a little slippery on smooth surfaces like linoleum in store entrance ways that get wet. Note that a shoe-laced shoe like these are always going to provide better support for walking while being comfortable versus any "slip-on" shoe. I own several pairs of these shoes and I have worn them for many years.
