I was looking for a pair of white tennis shoes for the summer - I haven't worn white tennis shoes (since... maybe high school? Late 80s or early 90s... but who's counting) but I need something more than flats and less than running shoes for an upcoming vacation. I compared these to Vans and Converse but I decided to go with these because I already have black Converse and black Vans and I love the retro look of the white Keds. Very 50s. I am an 8-1/2 in most shoes so I ordered them in my size and they fit perfectly. My toes aren't right at the end either so if I do want to wear socks, they won't be too snug. My foot is a medium width and the M is perfect. Also as soon as I put them on, my husband was like, "Those are so cute on you!" They are very flattering on the foot. I plan to wear these with jeans and skirts and shorts. I think Keds will be my new annual summer purchase. The price point is great too!

Prosready to go
After looking at the $100 "stylish" tennis shoes, I decided what I really wanted was a new pair of Keds. They are cute, not bulky, fit well and wear well. And, I like them! I really am not comfortable in platform sneakers. Sort of defeats the purpose of comfort. So, yes. Here I am back in the 50's and happy as a lark.
