this product is suitable for normal/dry skin. I use acne treatment creams that make my skin prone to dryness, so I've to be careful with my choice of cleansers. Since this is a cream cleanser, it doesn't dry up my skin even more. I've to use the Clarins method in order to take my makeup off since rubbing my skin in circular motions doesn't work. I think I need about 1-2 minutes to make sure I do a good job at cleansing. After I do this and cleanse, I use the Clarins Toning Lotion and always find residues of makeup left in my cotton pads despite my careful cleansing. Perhaps that's what the toner is for. When I use a foaming wash, this doesn't happen. Usually there's no makeup left when I use the toner.
I tend to wear 1-2 layers of liquid foundation or BB cream without any primers, so I'd consider it a moderate rather than heavy amount of makeup. Those wearing less makeup wouldn't run into this trouble as I do.
I really love this cleanser! About a year ago I was having issues with my skin; everything seemed to be irritating it. I started looking for a gentle, but effective cleanser that wouldn't strip my skin, since it was already rather dry. This was it! It is incredibly gentle and has a really lovely scent. Presently I use it for my second cleanse, after I've removed makeup. If I haven't worn any makeup all day, I only use this. I love using it in the morning as well. Excellent product. Keep it up, Clarins!!

It is fantastic. I love the way it makes my skin feel. So soft and refreshed after using the cleanser. I'd recommend it to anybody with normal to dry skin.

After you keep rubbing your face with it, you will see something coming out. However, I'm not sure if it's really unwanted stuffs in your skin or it's just something the cleanse turned into.
