I usually steer clear of Shea butter- anything because it tends to be to heavy but this lotion has a perfect balance of deep moisturizing that you can feel without the feel of a heavy cream. I love the smell, it's what Lancôme used to smell like...rich but not overpowering.
I struggle with dry skin and this is the best lotion I have ever tried. I love the smell and how luxurious it feels and yet how quickly it is absorbed. Because of this lotion I have started exploring other Clarins products. I also suggest you get the larger, limited availability size- its a great deal!
I love this moisturizer. A little goes a long way. Though it says it is for the body, I also love it for my hands. It is the last thing that I put on just before going to sleep. I love the feel of it as well as the fragrance.
I use this lotion for my hands. At 3.5 oz (gift size), the tube is too small and its content too precious to be using all over the body. The lotion has just enough moisture to keep your hands comfortable and supple for a few hours. Some people may object to the strong creamy floral scent, but I find it lovely and reminicent of my grandma's face powders. Highly recommended!
