I have used this pencil in plum and sometimes garnet for at least twenty-five years. Recently, I went to reorder the plum and there were only two colors available, the berry and the caramel. I ordered the berry thinking it would be something between the plum and the garnet but it was bilious hot pink, definitely not in the berry family. So, if you use this pencil in plum or garnet the berry will never work for you. Tell Lancome to bring back these pencils.

I feel compelled to write a review on Lancôme Le Contour lip liner pencil. The Caramel is not what you may want, if you want a true Caramel color. I purchased it and was very disappointed, as it is a Mauve color. The Garnet is not a Garnet color either. It is a dark reddish brown. My advice is that of a professional artist, very familiar with color. Don’t let the name fool you!
This lip pencil is the only one I can find that is self sharpening (it rolls up like a lipstick) & it is soft enough that it doesn’t hurt my lips when I use it!
