Becca
MUST HAVE for dark circles and fine lines
PostedFebruary 1, 2023
This is AMAZING! Surprisingly light, yet full coverage, doesn’t move or sit on fine lines, not cakey or dry and will last forever as a small amount goes a long way. Truly the best under eye concealer and I’ve tried them all. Highly recommend and only wish I’d found it sooner!

Wonderful concealer for mature skin
PostedJanuary 4, 2023
Perfect for less than perfect under eye skin. With a little setting powder, this concealer is good to go for the day and does not crease. Blends effortlessly with my concealer brush over my Bobbi Brown hydrating eye cream. I will say this is more of a medium vs full coverage product. I have more redness than darkness under my eyes and this cancels that discoloration amazingly well.

A twist of fate...

I recently bumped into an ex work colleague who I recall having very prominent dark circles under her eyes...expect she no longer had them! I commented on how well she looked overall and surprisingly she mentioned nothing has changed in the few years I last saw her (before she moved away), other than she's gotten better at m/u techniques including under eye concealing. And what did she use for that...?
...Lancome 'Effacernes Waterproof Protective Undereye Concealer'. I was sold literally just like that and snapped one up the very next day! It comes in a small tube which is deceptive as you use such a tiny amount that the product itself lasts for ages. All I do is use literally 1 drop for each eye and tap it into the area with my ring finger until it's provided enough coverage (it's very buildable). It's also quite hydrating so on the odd occasion when I've forgotten to use an eye cream beforehand, this hasn't proven to be a problem or accentuated fine lines in any way. I give it a few minutes to settle in and then finish with a setting powder and I'm good to go...
Personally I don't have a huge problem with my undereye area, only on the odd occasion such as after a late night, however it works very well and gives decent coverage, without looking unnatural. Very luckily managed to find the right shade on my first attempt, which was almost as unusual as bumping into the ex-colleague (who no longer even lives in town and was just visiting for the day!). Was it just fate all along, I wonder...-> My ‘Nordstrom Beauty Top 7 must-have list’ (My 7 favorite beauty products of all time, focusing mainly on my purchases at Nordstrom) <- < 1.
