This is the easiest way to apply eyeliner if like me you are an amateur! I use it with Nars eyeshadow in Thunderball or Coconut Grove.

This provides a nice tight line when used as a push eyeliner brush. My only small quibble is that the handle is quite long which makes it a bit tricky to use in front of a mirror
