This is really a nice shade...somewhere between gray and eggplant. I have blue eyes, and I tend not to wear dark colors, this isn’t too dark for light blue eyes. Layered over a bone shade, it’s perfect.
I am always a bit leery purchasing cosmetics over the internet due in part with the accuracy of the displayed color. To my joy, the Cafe Au Laite shadow was as close as I could have wished. All I need do is lightly draw my brush over the densely packed powder then apply with whatever pressure suits me to achieve the desired effect. The powder clings to my brush and doesn't flake onto my cheeks. I am completely satisfied with this product and, should I decide to venture into more entertaining colors, will purchase with absolute confidence.
