CAFE AU LAIT - I have worn this shade as a medium color in triple shade application for many years. I've never found anything that works as well for staying on for a few hours AND being a good shade for my light brown-hazel eye color. This is one staple, everyday product I would be lost without!
I have not worn eyeshadow in many years until I was introduced to Laura Mercier's Plum Smoke. Being Seventy years old I was concerned how this shadow would go on and look. Even with "loose' eyelids this eyeshadow went on easily and looked beautiful. Attention was brought to my eyes not my lids. The price might put some off but it lasts a long time, depending on how you use it,. It is a very neutral color which can be worn day or night. The shadow remained in place all day long with no creasing. I did use Trish McEvoy's Eye Base Essentials (Bare) - which I love. I might be daring and buy Laura Mercier's Black Plum and Deep Night, too. You are never to old to feel beautiful. :-)
This shadow is matte, no shimmer at all which looks better on “older” eyelids. I use it on my entire upper eyelid area, over Laura Mercier, Eye basics (color: linen) as a base to put colors on top. This combination of eye basics and this shadow do not budge all day. My skin is thin and light and i have deep set eyes, with dark shadows in the corners. This does the tricks to cover all darkness.
