These nail buffers do everything you need for smoothing your nails. Metal files and cheap emery boards are so rough on nails. This nail buffer has three functions, one for filing and smoothing after trimming nails, one to smooth out ridges, and one to finish off with a nice sheen to the tops of nails. I even use the file portion to smooth out rough skin and cuticles on the sides of nails. It also buffs off rough patches on palms. It does all this with a gentle, smoothing effect.

Love this buffer. I have moderately ridged nails. This buffer makes them look great without polish and also makes the polish go on more smoothly when I do choose to wear it. I use this as a companion to the cuticle care kit from Lippmann, which is also great.
Love the compact design of this excellent buffer. Unlike some blocky buffers, the compact design of this one can be slipped into a side pocket inside my purse. You don't need a lot of pressure with this buffer to create a lovely, natural looking shine to your nails.

I have ridges on my nails and needed something to smooth them out. This smoothed and shined my nails to prep for the perfect polish application.
