I agree with a previous reviewer as my polish started to pop off in large chunks within a day (and if the problem is that I put polish on top then maybe this shouldn't be called a "base coat"). A huge waste of $20 as unfortunately I bought this before reading the reviews. Gotta say, I'm not particularly impressed with this first (and likely last) Lippmann purchase.

I purchased this product a few months ago hoping that it would do everything it said that it would. I'm a huge fan of Deborah Lippmann's nail polishes, but every time I have used this as a base coat, within 24 hours my nail polish peels right off in large chunks. I don't have the same problem when I use a different base coat. It must be something with my body chemistry that just doesn't sit right with this specific base coat. It made me disappointed to spend so much money on something that I can't use.

This is the only thing that has helped my nails from peeling. It was noticeable after just one week. I think it will be a go-to every winter for me.
