First time purchase. At least 25% longer than any of my other pencils with same diameter. I am fair with blue eyes and dark hair. The color is great for me. Pencil is firm enough to outline lips clearly, but blends easily. I can use a lip brush to distribute across my lips and use alone as a lip color. Great color for autumn.
This is what Mac recommended since their other lip line (color Absolutely IT) was discontinued. I absolutely love this color, although I'm not a huge fan of the actual pencil, I liked the creamier one better. But for what it is, I love it! I have it paired with Del Rio normally!!
I don’t know if it’s my skin tone or the product itself, but I have a hard time seeing this color (Oak) when I apply it. It looks almost chalky on the pencil and doesn’t apply like other MAC liners. I always test the color on my hand prior and the MAC Spice lip pencil definitely was easier to use. It could be that it just matches my skin tone that much, where you can’t see the product as well, I could have received an expired/defective pencil or that’s just the formula of this particular color. For reference, I’m a NW25 in MAC foundation. I’d recommend trying it in-store prior to purchasing if you’re a similar skin shade.
