It doesn't blend he powder contour well at all. For an almost $40 dollar brush, you can do so much better with a $10 dollar morphe brush.. Returned

The bristles are soft and sturdy, and this brush is absolutely perfect for contouring (or blush, it's quite versatile). The quality of the brush is very good, well worth the price (as many MAC products are!).
