This lathers up pretty well- and even makes some bubbles. It works well on my daughter who has a little hair going for herself :-) It is only getting 4 stars because I have been using it (we are on vacation and thought I was going to be able to share with my daughter) . It leaves my hair oily feeling and weighty. The smell isn't as great as their lotions which was a bummer.
Bottom line, maybe buy something else... like Noodle and Boo

Prosgentle, good for daily use, perfect for baby
This baby wash is my favorite! It cleans gently but well and the nice scent lingers all day. :)
