I am 68 years old, 5'5", and I weigh 140 lbs. My bra size is 34DDD. I have had trouble finding support for the girls that match my active lifestyle. I want a firm but comfortable bra that keeps me from jiggling with each step. The Awareness Underwire bra is the best that I have discovered for this. I like the wider straps that reduce stress on my shoulders. The wide side panels and closure help deter underarm and back-flab exposure. The bra makes me feel relaxed and confident. I can wear it all day without feeling strangled.
This has been my go to bra for a few years as the support is good, the straps stay up and it looks good under shirts of all kinds. It isn’t as comfortable though as I learned when I tried on the back smoothing bra. Now THAT is comfortable.
Quality seems to have gone down for these. I’ve been wearing them since Oprah’s bra show years ago. They don’t offer the same shaping support as they once did and seem to stretch out more. I washed them in a lingerie bag and never machine dry. Hope to find a better option soon but until then I keep ordering during the sale.
