I purchased the .5 oz jar to try it. I have very sensitive skin, prone to breakouts and redness. I have used it nightly for 6 weeks and I can tell a difference in the texture of my face, as well as the tone and brightness. At first, I did break out (any new skin care I'll break out initially), but after a couple of weeks my skin calmed down. My husband says my face is definitely softer. I like the clean, fresh fragrance, too. I used HIAJ throughout my mid-20s and 30s. I think this product has the extra oomph my 40-year-old skin needs.

Yikes. This is awkward but this stuff sucks. Left me with breakouts and flakey skin and obvious wrinkles. Just awful.

This product gave me a week-long rash

I had used philosophy's hope in a jar product and loved it, but I'm not a fan of the smell. When my jar of that ran out, I figured I'd try renewed hope because maybe it would smell better. And it does. However, the product gave me a red, scaly, itchy, bumpy rash on my face that lasted a week! I've used tons of different products on my face, and I have no allergies that I'm aware of. This was a horribly embarrassing experience, and I will be returning the product. I definitely recommend testing it on a small patch of skin before using it on your entire face, and I'll be adhering to this practice in the future!
