Smelly formula

I was so excited about this moisturizer and unfortunately it STINKS. Smells so horrid. It is also NOT white like in the picture, but yellow. And along with these things, it burns my eyes. Not sure if many others like myself who are experiencing this are getting old jars of this stuff or if the product itself is just bad. Love my Purity Made Simple cleanser and I am very disappointed in this product and how much I spent on it.

hope in a jar is a great morning moisturizer - it provides enough moisture for my dry skin and it works perfectly under my foundation without pilling. it goes on smooth, not tacky at all - i'll always recommend this one.

Smells like bleach!

I just got this product in a gift set and its the 2nd jar I am getting. I bought the 1st one. Why does it smell like Bleach? How can this product have all of these antioxidants and smell so horrible and unbearable???? I need to return it as the smell gives me a headache as I am allergic to bleach.

Great for summer, might not be for winter

I recently started using philosophy skincare products and have been pretty happy overall. Renewed Hope came as part of a set I ordered so I wasn't ordering it specifically based on reviews; it was more of a happenstance purchase. The scent isn't very harsh - and I'm hypersensitive about anything perfumed - and somewhat reminds of me of an Oil of Olay product I used to use. My skin is clearer and seems to be evening out a bit more, but I'm not sure this will hold me over in the winter. I live in a very humid area so the light moisturizer and fast absorption are ideal for my location most of the year, however, my normal-to-dry skin needs something more moisturizing once the cold weather hits. The only odd reaction I've had to Renewed Hope is dry lips; this sucks the moisture right out of them. Overall, I'll keep this around for more humid months, but it won't be a regular once winter hits.
