very nice texture to this cream. I got a sample of hope in a jar and loved it. It has a nice clean scent also. It's so smooth and light, not at all greasy.

I love the texture of this moisturizer! It leaves my skin moisturized without feeling greasy. It also gets good coverage, so a jar will last awhile. As far as the smell, I was pretty indifferent. I don't like perfumed smelling products because of my sensitive nose, and this wasn't perfumed.

I am a new philosophy user. I received a sample of this in the mail, & loved it so much that I bought the full size. I have to say that this is the ONLY pleasant smelling skin/face care available. I have received plenty of samples, & most of them smell like citronella, including the purity made simple cleanser. Besides the great smell, this moisturizer absorbs very quickly, shrinks pore size, & keeps your face moisturized all day. My mirror thanks you philosophy.

definitely not Hope, but Reliance...

i just tried a sample yesterday and this is the first time i've written a review after a single use. i use Hope as my daytime moisturizer, followed by the Present (recently discontinued). well, i've dried my tears... RH delivers the same results in one product and then some. it's really a moisturizer and primer in one. it absorbs instantly and refines texture in a flash. No waiting, greasiness or stickiness at all. this leaves my skin crazy smooth, pores are invisible. i have combination skin and it looked and felt fabulous all day. i thought the herbaceous scent was pleasant and didn't linger at all. Can I trade in my new, jumbo jar of original Hope?
