I have tried many different moisturizers, none of them compare to this one! Renewed Hope leaves my skin feeling baby smooth and soft. I love it!

This might be a good product for the young but for my 60+ year old skin, it was too thin and not occlusive enough. It slid on, soaked right in...and 30 minutes later I needed more. If you find heavy creams (La Mer, e.g.) all wrong, you would like this, perhaps. If you want something really heavy duty what will last for hours and keep your skin slightly tacky and dewy, and if you're old, this isn't the best option. I prefer Miracle Worker to this.

According to Philosophy.com, Hope in a Jar is supposed to be a "high performance" moisturizer that “promotes smooth, healthy looking skin,” gives the skin a "rosy glow," and "protects [skin] from environmental attack." After using the moisturizer on my face, I noticed the “glow” at first; however, as the moisturizer was absorbed into the skin, the luminosity vanished. Furthermore, I would not say that my skin appeared any more “rosy” than it did before I applied the moisturizer. Ultimately, I see no obvious changes in the texture and condition of my skin after using the product. The one thing I do like about this product is that it absorbs quickly and does not leave an oily residue on my skin.

Oh...my...goodness!!! This moisturizer is AMAZING!!! I had used Hope In A Jar for several years and then changed brands because I needed a moisturizer with a little more oomph! I saw this on QVC and preordered it and I am so glad I did. This is rich and thick but melts into my skin and feels good all day long. I have tried lots of different brands of moisturizers at lots of different price points but philosophy really hit it out of the park on this product! Try it!!! :)
