I really don't like this product. It had worsened my break out, and did not improve my scars... not only so, it was so light that I had to use another moisturizer on top of it to prevent myself from feeling like my face is bare. I am so disappointed.

I recently purchased this again, after battling with severely dry skin this winter. Somebody slap me if I ever stop using this again! In 2 days, using purity, micro delivery wash, and HIAJ my skin is finally back to normal!!! No more dry, flaky, red skin. I tried to be cheap for about a year and switch to Avon and Neutragena, but I'm back to philosophy for good!

Disappointed in how this has changed

I am disappointed in how this product has changed over the years. When I first started using it the moisturizer had more of a dry, whipped texture and was more effective. The cream is now more like their former rice protein formula, much thicker, and it seems to just sit on the top of one's skin instead of penetrating and hydrating it. The current iteration of Hope in a Jar is no better than any other moisturizer available at the drugstore, and I will not be using it again.

Hope in a Jar is my fav!! After using so many facial products some cheaper, some more expensive, this product smoothes the skin, hydrates it just perfect, and makes the makeup you apply on top appear smoother and you look younger. I have been getting compliments that I don't look the 61 that I am. Will continue to use this forever!
