this is a wonderful moisturizer for all age groups. i've had a time finding a quality product to replace my old moisturizer as my skin is now very dry and it simply didn't work for me anymore. so happy i tried this! hope in a jar is perfection. luxurious formula, very lightly scented, absorbs well, and keeps my skin refreshed and soft all day - whether i use it alone or with other products. it also makes an excellent night cream. love ;)

The smell!!!

I was going to wait for 30 days of usage before I wrote a review. But I don't think I can last 30 days. The smell is really awful! The cream itself feels light and lovely. My skin is combo/sensitive with occasional breakouts. And so far, my skin has reacted really well to this. But the smell is causing me headaches, and it stays with me for hours. it smells of plastic, as if the cream sat in a cheap plastic container for a long time and was imbued with that scent. Philosophy, Please change the scent! meanwhile, I think i'll find another cream.

at first i was a little skeptical about this moisturizer because i have pretty oily skin and it made me look shiny a couple of hours after applying (but i guess that usually happens with any moisturizer). but after using it for a week or so My skin felt soooo smooth. i'm very impressed and will continue to rave about this cream.

Love the way Hope in a Jar makes my skin feel, however, I cannot hardly get past the nasty smell. I told my husband my face smelled like breakfast sausage...and not in a good way. Kind of hard to fall asleep when you stink!
Please Philosophy, change the smell of this lotion. All of the other products I have used smell SO good, but this is just gross.
