had several moisturizers. even expensive products. but usually my skin was dry again after a couple hours.
this gives me moisture all day long.
also love the mousse texture.

I REALLY LIKE THIS PRODUCT, THE 'SOUFFLE' TEXTURE ESPECIALLY. BUT THE SMELL IS SOO OVERPOWERING, AT FIRST. IF YOU USE IT LONG ENOUGH, YOU GET USED TO IT, BUT IT NEVER GOES AWAY. I THINK IT'S SUPPOSED TO SMELL LIKE LAVENDER, BUT THAT IS NOT WHAT I THINK OF WHEN I THINK OF LAVENDER. BEWARE IF YOU HAVE A SENSITIVE NOSE LIKE ME! :) THAT SAID, I HAVE SENSITIVE SKIN AND THIS SEEMS TO CALM MY REDNESS PRETTY WELL, BUT I ALSO DON'T USE VERY MUCH AT ONE TIME. MY PIDDLY 2OZ JAR HAS LASTED ME A YEAR AND A HALF... AND HAS NOW SEPARATED! IT WAS OKAY AT FIRST, NOW COMPLETELY LIQUID AND UNUSABLE, NOT TO MENTION GROSS. BOTTOM LINE: A NO FOR SENSITIVE NOSES AND SKIN, MOST LIKELY.

I first started using philosophy about 2 years ago and originally used the oil free formula, and switched to this formula last winter. i never had any issues with it. This winter i purchased a set at a department store that included this formula and two other hope products. the smell was horrendous! it was like what other reviewers have said -- a wet dog. additionally, one day i noticed that my face felt very hot and itchy. i broke out in a rash all over my cheeks. this has never happened with a philosophy product and i was very disappointed. perhaps the kit i received was outdated? i am a huge fan of philosophy and love, love, love all the other products (i use a lot of them! :) ), but i will never purchase hope in a jar again and have also stopped using the purity gel. :(

THIS IS THE BEST MOISTURIZER ON THE MARKET! I HAVE ACNE PRONE SKIN AND HOPE DOES NOT BREAK ME OUT. I THINK IT MAKES MY SKIN LOOK HEALTHIER. I ALSO DO THE MICRODELIVERY PEEL 1-2 X A WEEK WITH GREAT RESULTS. PHILOSOPHY IS MY FAVORITE LINE ON THE MARKET!!!
