I LOVE TO USE HOPE IN A JAR AFTER WASHING MY FACE WITH PURITY. I HAVE TWO TINY BOTTLES OF BOTH SINCE THEY ARE A LITTLE TOO PRICEY FOR ME, SO I RATIO MY USE. BUT I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PRODUCT. MY SKIN IS SMOOTH, SILKY, AND SOFT AFTER USE. I ESPECIALLY LOVE USING THIS UNDER MY MAKEUP, NO DRY SPOTS FROM THE FOUNDATION AND POWDER CAKING UP.

my skin is very sensitive and breaks out very easily if i use things that are too heavy, greasy, or laced with synthetic fragrances. this is not the case with this moisturizer. it is like whipped cream turn into water when you put it on. it sinks right in and you get such a pretty soft rosy glow. only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that it is a touch oily to use under my mineral makeup so i only use it at night. a wonderful moisturizer nevertheless.

Terrible smell

I used my sample of this moisturizer than I got with my hope in a tinted moisterizer, and OMG the smell is terrible. It makes my skin feel very soft, not for me since it's a bit too oily, but the smell I couldn't get past anyways... ugh.

philosophy, you have saved my skin! prior to becoming a philosophy girl, i tried many different skin care lines: clinique, elizabeth arden, arbonne, mary kay--to name a few. philosophy hope in a jar is the only moisturizer that immediately moisturizes my sensitive skin, gets rid of my flakes, doesn't bring about acne and isn't greasy! i also wanted to say that i have seen reviews from people stating they do not like the smell of this...i must agree to disagree with them. it reminds me of being in a spa--very organic and herb scented to my senses! you can tell it is made with the best ingredients...thank you so very much philosophy!
