I was on accutane for my terrible acne and if you know accutane, It dries your skin out something awful. I tried everything but I still had really bad dry skin. This was the ONLY thing that kept my skin moisturized! My dermatologist even commented that he'd never seen someones skin do so well. he's started recommending this moisturizer for his other patients on accutane. this stuff works and keeps your face hydrated all day. I didn't have to re-apply this, just put it on in the morning and at night. it was excellent!

i have been using this for 5 years. finally got my husband (6 years my junior) to try it a few months ago. i told him he was starting to look older than i and he need to start doing something about it. he really likes it and just asked me to get more for him (he works on the road all week). i am happy to say he is looking fantastic these days. his skin looks much healthier. thank you, philosophy. it's nice to know i can always count on you to, not only keep us smelling amazing (got the hubs amen) but also take great care of our skin.

lIFESAVER for eczema sufferer

I bought this as a lotion for my face, after hearing so many glowing reviews. I used it and loved it, and actually got compliments on my skin. Money was tight and I decided to make do with over the counter lotion. Let me tell you I was not getting any compliments. What a mess! I will never be without again. Also, I was having a break out of eczema on my hands and wrists and after applying the lotion to my face, I rubbed the left over into my hands and up my arms. Within two applications I noticed that the patches had started to clear up. Now I skip the medicated creams$80 from the dermatologist and just use this the second I notice any eczema starting and it heals right up. I highly recommend this to anyone suffering with eczema. The medicated/chemical ointments from the Dr's have huge warning labels and always make my skin feel thin. NOw the eczema is in control and I have healthy skin. Best of all now I can justify spending a little extra because it treats my eczema. My healthy glowing skin is just a nice side effect.

This cream is probably the best I ever used. OK: it smells different but not drastically so. Kind of a tanjerine peels smell. Not too bad. The good point: very easy to apply, smooth skin, no redness, less defaults. My husband is also using it. He has some skin problem and to keep it at bay he always uses essential oil of geranium. With hope in a jar, no such hassle. his skin is just perfect.
