i received this as a sample with a gift with purchase. I love it and will be buying a full size. aside from what a lot of the reviews say about this product having a bad smell, i personally like it. it smells clean and refreshing. i like that it doesn't have a strong perfume smell to it. to me, it smells more citrusy. I like that it's not greasy and absorbs into my skin. it's a perfect moisturizer to put on before makeup application because it's not oily. it's great!

This moisturizer works very well. it feels a little weird going on - kind of soupy until it absorbs into your skin, but after that it works. it's not too heavy - good on my normal skin. however, it smells so bad I decided i couldn't use it. i put a lot of thought into it as my jar kept getting lower and lower, but when it came time to buy more, i went back to clinique. i love all other philosophy products but they need to do something about the smell of hope in a jar.

The feel of the product is wonderful.The smell is more than awful.I used the sample,that I received with my last order,went to bed thinking the smell would fade.It did not,I had to get up wash the product off my face,before I could go to sleep.i really do like the philosophy products,but not this one.would be nice if you would fix the smell.Sorry,it cannot get a 5 from me,but a 1 is all i can give it.because of the awful smell.

Best moisturizer I've used!

i'm in my late 50's and noticed my skin was becoming very flakey. NO matter what brand i wanted to buy had ingrediantes that did not work on the dry flakiness. this is a wonderful product for my skin problem, also no white or black heads. the smell is a bit offensive when first applied, but disapates as the cream settles in the skin. So glad i took a chance and tried this product line!
