hOPE IN THE JAR WAS THE SECOND PRODUCT I TRIED FROM PHILOSOPHY. i BOUGHT IT ALONG WITH YOUR PURITY CLEANSER. i AM SO IN love WITH THIS PRODUCT. IT IS SO smooth AND LIGHTWEIGHT, HAS A PRETTY LIGHT SENT AND MELTS INTO MY SKIN. iT GIVES ME THE PERFECT AMOUNT OF MOISTURE UNDER MY MAKEUP TOO. mY SKIN IS SO SOFT BECAUSE OF THIS PRODUCT AND IT IS NOT GREASY. iT HAS A DREAMY LIGHT WHIPPED TEXTURE. i CAN'T SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THIS PRODUCT. iT DOES EVERYTHING IT CLAIMS. pHILOSOPHY'S SKINCARE LINE HAS CHANGED MY LIFE! tHANK YOU pHILOSOPHY!

I'll admit when i first used this about 8 years ago i was put off by the smell. i just had never smelled anything like it, but i quickly grew used to it and the benefits far out way the scent which goes away after a few minutes. i don't even notice it anymore. i've tried other moisturizers through the years, all greatly rated and work well, but this is my favorite hands down, why mess with a great thing?

what stinks?

this product literally stinks...it smells like a wet dog and is so strong In fact that my husband (who by the way can't smell much because of sinus issues) refused to kiss me goodnight after i used it lol. I will say that I don't like products with perfumes because my skin is super sensitive and so I am used to that no fragrance smell that a lot of products have but this is something totally different. overall it feels pretty good on the skin though I do get some very mild itchness when i first apply it. I have heard such good things about this product so i am going to try to stomach it for two weeks to see if it works for my skin but the first 3 days have been sketchy at best.

I have been using hope in a jar for about 3 months and really really like it! I don't have any problems with the smell like some reviewers. I actually think it smells quite nicely and fresh! It does not leave my face feeling greasy at all and is a wonderful moisturizer after my purity and micro delivery wash!
