Years ago I received a sample of hope in a jar. i used it and loved it. i use it everyday. i even use it on my hands!

I am so impressed with this moisturizer. I can seldom ever use anything moisture related, because i break out all over. this is light weight, non greasy and feels fresh. every one complains about the smell and i'm not sure why; it just smells like cleaner to me and fragerence free. i honestly was worried it would smell like an armpit and it's totally fine... don't let those reviews scare you!

why did you change the formula

I have used Hope in A Jar for years and have loved my skin since starting it. i don't know what happened but the product i received most recently is not the original formula at all. it is sticky, greasy, and slimy. it does not absorb into my skin like it did before. even the fragrance is not the same. i ordered 2 jars in 2 separate orders hoping the first jar i received was just a fluke. it wasn't. i am very disappointed in philosophy for trying to sneak in a different formulation.

Worst rash ever!

i've tried to use hope in a jar on two seperate occasions and each time i end up with a thick, itchy rash over my cheeks and by my eyes. the rash is so severe that face is actually swollen. i would not recommend this product to a friend.
