I am very impressed with this moisturizer.NOt greasy or sticky. Doesnt have synthetic fragrances that can cause allergic reaction to my sensitive skin. It is the best one out there in the market. I used to have a lot of small bumps on my face. It looks like black heads that I cant seem to get rid of. After using this moisturizer for about 2 weeks, i started to see results!!!!! my face became so smooth and moist! I brought the smallest jar which was .5 ounces.I wanted to try out the moisturizer so that's why i purchased a small one! I just ordered a 2 oz one and cannot wait to use it because my .5 oz is going to be finished very soon!!!!

smells horrible

was initially excited to try this product but after the first use i noticed a horrible smell. it smells like hair dye or something gross. i have noticed no improvement in my normal skin and i have been using it for 5 days. it also feels like there is some kind of medication in it. this product makes my skin feel a little tingle like. don't recommend this product at all. very disappointed. and the smell is a major deal breaker!

I was looking for a facial cream that would hydrate and help with red itchy patches I have on my face due to highly reactive skin and cold dry MN winter. i was originally using origins products which i liked but were becoming far to pricey. i researched other brands and happened to fall on to philosophy. needless to say i've found a home. great priced and wonderful results. after the first 2 weeks of using hope in a jar my skin was silky and soft. my boyfriend even commented on how nice his skin felt after using my hiaj one morning. cant say enough good things about hope. probably easier for me to list what i don't like about it. yes it does have a different smell than most face creams but it's also not trying to cover the natural scent of the ingredients with perfumes that can cause reaction. if you're a person with highly sensitive skin like me you'll appreciate the honesty of this cream. It works wonders. I am even giving the hope essentials kit to my family for xmas gifts.

great product. you eventually get used to the smell. moisturizes fantastically but after a few hours my skin get oily so i merely use it at night after i wash my face.
