I love this moisturizer. i switch between this one in the summer to miracle worker in the winter for the added moisture. if i miss using it just for a day i can tell, my skin is tight and dull and i have oily skin most of the time! i never thought a moistureizer could balance out my skin this well. Thanks Philosophy

Skin reaction- too much oil

I have tried this multiple times, trying to give this product a fair chance. I have read other reviews that this is their can't do with out, but for me it is my facial downfall. this product has a bad smell, does not absorb into the skin and causes my face to breakout.when i use this with in 8 hours i have irritated skin and breakouts- when i stop use it clears up with hope in a bottle.

it seems like i have been searching for the perfect moisturizer for years, and finally found it! hope in a jar gives me the right amount of moisture for my skin (which tends to be dry in the winter but pretty normal the rest of the year) i love how this just melts right into my skin and leaves it feeling so soft and smooth! i have read other reviews where people complain about the scent, but i don't happen to find the scent offensive. it is a very unique scent, but it isn't one that lingers.

hope in a jar turns my face into an oily mess. i've purchased it several times hoping it will be the perfect moisturizer, but alas, i end up throwing it out every time and going back to my trusted and beloved moisture surge. I love nearly every philosophy product i try, but not this one.
