First of all, I think the scent is great! It is similar to the scents you would experience when receiving a facial. It is a natural scent and not parfumey.
I have occasional break-outs and hormonal break-outs every month. This product has shortened the healing time and length of redness from a blimish. My skin had been dull in the past, and now I feel as though it is more vibrant. I purchased Hope in a jar through the philosophy skin care essentials kit. I live in a humid climate and most moisterizers with the humidity gave my face a very shiny appearance. Since using hope in a jar, I have noticed far less of the oily look.
I have really enjoyed using all the products in the kit and plan to replace them all when they run out. I would definitely recommend philosophy products to family and friends.

a co worker recommended Hope in a jar. I purchased it and having been using it for the past two months. This is the first moisturizer I can say has delivered. I have purchased many products in my 50 years and I have never felt, or seen improvement with a moisturizer like Hope in a jar.

i love the texture of this moisturizer! it's so creamy and smooth. it feels wonderful going on. i don't know what everyone is complaining about with the smell but i actually like the smell alot personally. it is a nice earthy lavender smell, if you've used more vegan products then you know the smell i'm talking about. i think most people are just so used to the strong stinky smell of over perfumed products. this moisturizer is perfect for my combination skin and it lasts forever. not to mention, i also got an extra free jar from sephora so yay! by the way, i have acne, rosacea, hyper-sensitive skin, and it tones down the redness in my skin sooo much. i love it!

tired of lavender smell

please philosopy, stop adding lavender oil in every other product you make. so many people would be able to use this and some of the other products with great pleasure if you didn't add this ingredient. it's a lovely cream but I can't wait for version that is free of lavender oil or other fragrant components. other than that I love the quality and the value of philosophy products.
