My skin has always been sensitive, i could never use anything without breaking out or irritation - this light, no grease formula - moisturizes my skin and actually makes me feel beautiful. i have never been so loyal to a product - but this is just the best!

i purchased this product as a part of a kit. i tried it and felt 'okay' about it. it feels nice. it absorbs well. it wasn't the kind of moisturizer i'd run back to the store to buy again. i subsequently tried another philosophy product, "miracle worker" and was much happier with that one. i recommend trying samples of the different moisurizers to find the one that is best for you before you purchase the whole jar.

my skin is fairly oily so i used to buy only very light moisturizers. the creamy texture of this one threw me off. i can't use on a clear day at night (too drying) so i use purity to cleanse, followed by spot treatment as needed and just a bit of hope in a jar. it can be overwhelming for my skin if used too heavily, but does moisturize nicely without causing breakouts. I use it on my lips at night, and during the day when i can't find my lip balm - really holds the moisture in, though i can't say it tastes very good.

after trying everything from multiple cleansing systems to complete changes of make-up lines to prescription gels, ointments and oral medications, i finally found a solution for my rosacea problems. i tried this product as a sample with a fragrance purchase. oh my gosh i finally felt hydrated and my skin thanked me. i went from literally years of constant flares to soothed skin in just a few weeks. my husband was so impressed that he got me a starter kit for christmas. i have been amazed and people have really noticed as much of a difference in my skin as i have. I no longer use the prescription cocktail that it took to simply maintain an ok complexion. . . i only use my philosophy basics and my skin is radiant. simply unbelievable. it all started with hope in a jar. i have since added purity, microdelivery wash , and the microdivery peel system one at a time to make sure nothing flared my rosacea. nothing yet has caused a flare, far from it, my skin gets better with each one. thanks philosophy!!
