can't get over the scent

As a moisturizer, it worked well enough. not greasy or shiny. but what is that smell? to me it smells like pencil shavings and is so off-putting to me that i'm not sure i could recommend this.

smell was too strong
PostedSeptember 29, 2009
i received a sample of this product with a fragrance purchase. i vaguely remembered reviewers mentioning the smell. I tried it and it felt great, but the smell was so bad and strong I got a severe headache and felt sick to my stomach. THat's too bad b/c the product felt like it would do a great job and the texture was not greasy. Hopefully the scent will be improved in the future.

one of the #1 staples in my skincare
PostedSeptember 25, 2009
This was the first i had heard and seen of philosophy products. i bought it online from a tv ad with the #1 sellers kit. this stuff is a must have, along with purity made simple this was the beginning to beautiful and flawless skin. co-workers and family both noticed after the second week of use..saying i looked rested and had a glow. hiaj i love you , can't live without you and "hope" to never lose you. the feel of this product is like no other, and the smell is wonderful I love it. it gives your skin this sunkissed glow. thank you again philosophy....#1 avid male user....

Confused by the smell
PostedSeptember 22, 2009
I love the body washes and decided to order a kit that include hope in a jar. I had hear so many rave reviews about it. however, i cannot tolerate the odor. at first i thought it was just temporary but i can smell it all day. so I will stop using it and give it away.
