The smell

i thought i would love this product but the smell was awful, i used it for a few days thinking i was crazy, but i kept having to wash it off is smelled so bad. If only they could improve that!

i just recieved my sample of hope in a jar. and i gotta say Oprah definatly dropped the balll on this one! i cannot even describe the smell i am getting from this cream. i want to say old pickle juice that has been left in the fridge for years-smell. i thru right in the trash, and took another shower, asap. sorry "hope" this helps.

don't be scared off by reviews citing the smell

I too was slightly put of by the scent of this product initially but had heard such great things about its results that I resolved to endure it. over time i grew to enjoy the scent and others probably will as well if they give it a chance. it has a lavender aroma, which is really more unusual in a facial moisturizer than unpleasant. once i used the product enough for the smell to become "normal" to me, i was never bothered by it again and am seeing all of the great results that my friends promised!
