this is just the perfect day moisturizer! it doesn't get greasy, it leaves the skin soft and glowing. It even gives you a rosey-like complexion. the consistency is nice and it goes on perfectly smooth.

I have had oily skin all of my life. When I was in my late teens, I couldn't stand my skin anymore. Everyone told me, don't worry by the time you're 21 your skin will start to dry out and you'll wish you still had oily skin! Well, I'm now 53 and my skin is just as oily as when i was in my teens. I have tried even the most expensive skin care products (i now use only Purity) and have sworn off moisturizers alltogether because they just felt like Crisco on my skin. Until Hope in a jar! i not ony use it on my cheeks which are starting to get dry; I use it on my whole face and guess what? My oil is in check!! For the first time in my life! I can't tell you how happy that makes me. No more Crisco face. Thank you! thank you! thank you! I would give this product, as well as Purity, 10 stars if I could.

My sister turned me on to this. I use this and purity and my skin is beautiful. i didn't realize how much i loved it until i ran out last week. i am moving and thought i could wait to order after the move. not. all the things i used to deal with have returned. dull, dry, itchy, and breakouts to top it all off. so i just placed my order and thought i'd review. give this a week and use with purity. i was not used to wearing moisturizer since i have always had oily skin. I thought i'd break out. give it a chance. this alone works for me but the other products are great enhancements to my regimen. especially the exfolliating treatments. i am a customer for life.

I just bought the large 8oz size jar, but only after I quit using this for a while. I couldn't tell if I liked this so I quit using it. My skin started looking dull. The only change I made in my skin routine was stopping the use of Hope in a jar. My skin is back to normal. Don't give up on this moisturizer. The changes in your skin are subtle, but definitely missed if you stop.
