my skin really loves this! I had been using it fior a few years, then decided to get the eight ounce. my skin is so calm, and the redness and bumps under the skin on my forehead have reduced. thanks philosophy!

i'm not sure what it is, but something in all of these moisturizers irritates my skin. i really wanted to love this product because everyone else loves it and raves about it. it just didn't work for me. bummer!

a drink for the skin

you can't live in the north and survive without this product in the winter. i love the way my face feels after it's been applied each morning. it truly is like a drink for the skin as they say on the adds. i would give it a top rating except it does have a slight odor that even my husband has noticed when he gets close.

the holy grail of moisturizers

philosophy surely doesn't need another review for one of their most popular and successful products, but i just have to include my own. like a lot of people, hiaj was the first philosophy product i tried. i have really sensitve skin, and had been searching for years for a moisturizer that not only worked well for my skin (i.e. didn't cause irritations or breakouts), but provide treatment benefits, too. i'm not exagerating when i say hiaj changed my life b/c i finally found a moisturizer that worked for my skin, and helped to increase my confidence. it may sound superficial, but knowing my skin looks great, does increase my sense of security. i feel it's okay to say that b/c for a few years my skin didn't look so great, and it definitely inhibited me. i was so shocked the first time someone told me i had "pretty skin." i did think my skin now looked "pretty," but to hear it from someone else was amazing.
it's true that your skin gets a rosy and healthy glow, thanks to the lactic acid in hiaj. you receive exfoliation benefits you are not even consciously aware of (i.e. there are not any exfoliating granuals; just the lactic acid). lastly, some people have mentioned the scent of hiaj...i must say that at first i thought the scent was 'different,' but now i love it, and find it provides me with a feeling of comfort for some reason.
