Hope in a jar is wonderful. It's very moisturizing and so far, it doesn't upset my sensitive skin. I would say that buying the oil-free version would be a better option for the summer as it's a bit heavy to me given the hot and humid conditions here in South Florida. Overall I am happy with the moisturizer and just use less of it , once a day, due to the summer weather. The smell isn't my fave, it smells like really strong sunscreen but it fades after about an hour. I would also recommend keeping it away from your eye area since the AHA seemed to make my eyes burn slightly when I first put it on. Now that I avoid this area, it has been fine.
Hope in a jar is my new favorite moisturizer for my face. It is not too heavy and leaves my face feeling soft and smooth. I use it every night and even the smallest container lasted months. I was surprised to see reviews that don't like the smell of this lotion. I think the fragrance is refreshing and makes my face smell like a garden, but that's just me! I would highly recommend it!
