Purchased this for my mom as she is in love with the entire Philosophy collection. You can't go wrong purchasing anything in the Philosophy line up

When I was in my college days I loved using Phylosophy’s products from body lotions to their body wash, but as I’ve gotten older I truly care what ingredients are in the products. When I received this, I read their ingredients and it seems to be good. When I opened the jar I liked that they had a cover to protect it from touching the lid, however it was very hard to take that cover off. At first glance it looked like a cream but when you touch and apply it, it felt more like a combo of gel/cream. I applied it after my serums and it went on smoothly. I used it day and night the first day to see how my skin would react and unfortunately I started to see some whiteheads and my skin texture didn’t look nice. I still used it for a week to see if it was the culprit and it seems like it was so I stopped using it for a week to let my skin breathe. After a week of not using it I started using it again and this time around it seems like my skin adjusted to it. After using it for a few weeks(only in the mornings) It’s a decent moisturizer but I feel like it didn’t improve my skin nor did I help moisturize it enough- I always apply my skin oils after moisturizing as my skin is dry. It’s a decent product but not something I would get again- it might be good for someone who has combo to normal skin and to use it at night for oily skin. I’m always looking for a moisturizer since I live in the desert and this one is a clean and refreshingly light one! It’s effective and does the job, but it’s not my favorite of all time. I prefer Cerave moisturizer to this one.
