I am a woman with wide feet. The ladies' Uggs style with the fur pom-pom was cuter and more feminine, but it just wasn't wide enough and I wasn't sure it would stretch out enough to be comfortable---so I decided to try these. The fit is very good, they are really nice and warm, the quality is well worth the cost, and I am very happy with them. In the beginning I had wanted something more girlie-looking, but once these arrived and I put them on, I didn't think they were particularly masculine looking; I would say they just look like a classic moccasin.
Great quality and extremely comfortable as are any pair of UGGs we have purchased. Also bought the care kit on the UGG website that makes a huge difference in the longevity of the life of the shoe.
