I think Uggs are the perfect cold time shoes for kids. You don't have to wear socks and they slip on and off so easily. I have bought them for my daughter every year and now my son wears hers. We have gotten great use out of them!

I purchased these boots in Sugar Plum Purple for my 14 year old daughter. The size 6M for big kids was a perfect fit (she normally wears an adult size 8 shoe). The purple color isn't available in the adult sizes, so I was very happy that this size worked out for her. The color is a pinkish-purple. The boots are extremely comfortable and durable. Her previous pair of Uggs Classic Short Boots lasted 3 years. I would recommend using a water-proofing spray on them, though, before wearing them for the first time. This definitely helps them to last longer and to stay cleaner.
