Don't get the hype

Applied for the first time thismorning as a make up primer instead of my usual smashbox photofinish. My skin wasn't as smooth and my powder didn't stay on as long. Is everyone else using this with a liquid foundation? I didn't see a difference in my skin at all either.
I have semi-oily skin, larger pores, and olive undertones. Didn't do much.

This is a marvelous product that one must have. I got my first tube as a free sample (it is so generous for Clarins to give 30ml as free sample) and I applied on my face as instructed: using as moisturizer or mask when applying a thick layer. My skin tone got approved incrediblely, leaving silky and smooth texture. Sometimes I can even skip my toner step. After finishing the sample, I purchased 2 full tubes: one for me and one for my friend; and got a free sample with the purchase again. Now I uses it everyday and am working on my third tube. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to do easy step taking care of skin.

Proscreates an amazing glow!, softens fine lines!, adds mositure boost!, terrific primer!
After a grueling 6 week international trip, my normally well cared for face had experienced a complete environmental assualt with 3 climate changes, dehydration and complete fatique. Dry, grey, splotchy, irritated & too many visible lines irritated-ugh! When I saw this product in the duty free magazine on the airplane, I remembered hearing some good things- so, I grabbed it with hopes that the claims were true and WOW-WEE !!! In minutes the surface was visibly improving and after light makeup, I looked dramatically improved! What a confidence booster for the reunion with my husband! I continued to use it daily for 2 more weeks and the results have been impressive! Now that I'm combining the balm with my home care routines, I can really see a difference in the overall look of my face. There is a glow to my skin that I love ...with or without makeup! I must emphasize how much better my liquid makeup AND loose powders work with this product as a "primer". Now, 3 weeks into this fantastic product, I am ordering more for myself and will be gifting it for the holidays! I have been a skin care professional (not connected to Clarins) for over 10 years and rarely do I encounter a product that I love this much - especially for this reasonable price! Thanks Clarins - I am hooked and strongly recommend this to everyone!

Amazing Product

I had read some reviews on beauty sites about this product and was hesitant. I mean, how much of a difference could one product make? Well all of my skepticism was immediately erased. My skin glowed and looked so soft and supple. It honestly looked like a model's skin...post-photoshop. I would definitely recommend this product for any time your skin needs a little boost or when you just want to GLOW!
