I have used this deodorant for years. I use it everyday and I don't have to replace it for a year. It last that long. It keeps me dry all day which is great for I don't like antiperspirants. ( please change my post to LC. )
I have no problem trying all types of beauty products including deodorant. i purchased this Clarins deodorant and a few others around the same time seeking a holy grail. My favorite overall is "Donna Karan's Cashmere Mist Solid Deodorant" and always end up back with DK (fully tested).
Nonetheless, the best part about this deodorant is that it does not leave "white stain" or "white residue" marks on your clothes. Therefore, this is a great deodorant when wearing sleeveless dresses, tops and tanks during warmer months. Reapplication is easy if and when needed. It's also convenient for portability and throwing in my bag.
In addition, this deodorant has very good staying power if you are primarily indoors from morning to end of workday (10 - 12 hour day). Yet, I would not be confident it would hold up if I was going to be outdoors for an extended period in the summer without layering it with another deodorant like Kiehl's Superbly Efficient Deodorant Cream.
However, the major con to this deodorant is the scent. Like others have stated, it has a strong scent. It is a warm scent that leans more woodsy and masculine (or aka "old lady" scent). It's definitely a unisex deodorant. For me, I usually apply right after I shower to allow it to dry down and the scent to fade to a more tolerable scent. By the time I dries, the scent is more tolerable and does not interfere with other perfume fragrances if I desire.
Overall, I believe this deodorant is worth giving it a try for newbies. Also, perfect if you do not want to worry about white residue/stains getting on your clothes and it's portable and easy reapplication if needed throughout the day!
I wish Clarins would make another formulation with a lighter, more more feminine scent. Then, it would be 5-starts for me!
This product is easy to use: a spray head. It has delicate scent, using on it's own make you smell very nice but it won't affect perfume scent if you want to use both. The scent is very neutral and comfortable to smell and it will last all day long. It doesn't cause discomfort at all and a little bit goes a long way.

Proslightly scented
Used it for 3 years now and it continues to be the best money spent. I keep one at home and one in the car. Will never switch to another deodorant!
