Something has drastically changed. The perfume smells like a cheap Coty version of the original.
When Mugler was sold to Clarins I had no issues with any changes. Now Mugler is owned by L'Oreal. I have worn this fragrance for over 20 years. I was selected as the Mistress of Scent to host a perfume launch party when they released Womanity and then again with the Taste of Fragrance line. I have ALWAYS loved the consistency of the product, its long-lasting qualities, and the compliments I get when wearing and layering it. It was my signature scent. SO WHY MESS WITH PERFECTION? All to save a buck? I recently received my latest new bottle because "The Source" has been out at my Nordstrom. Literally makes me want to cry because it has been so much a part of my identity.
Angel is the only perfume I will ever wear. I always get compliments from men and women, and it smells absolutely divine!

I have worn Angel since the 1990s. It had long lasting power and the fragrance notes that stood out were the chocolate, cotton candy, vanilla. I would spray it on and the fragrance would last all day +. The New formula (which was changed since L'Oreal purchased Mugler and ruined it) does not last more than a few hours (if that) and the chocolate/vanilla is no more) It is more citrus. It is now a knock-off. I wish they would have discontinued Angel instead of creating a dupe that the company passes off as the real thing. I am very disappointed that I have lost a fragrance that I once LOVED.
