Best eyeliner out there bar none

Bobbi Brown's Long-Wear Gel eyeliner is the best eyeliner out there. It stays on all day, oily skin or dry skin. I've tried numerous other brands in the same type of formulation (semi solid to be applied with a brush), some much less expensive, some more, and none works as well as this one. I've had many colors; the Violet is not as dark as some of the others, more subtle but a nice color. Cannot recommend this more highly. I've tried both Bobbi Brown's pencil and liquid eyeliners, and they don't stay on like this long-wear gel. I end up going back to this every time. Highly recommend.

For days when you want a more precise definition than you get with a lining pencil--usually perfect texture and color. Espresso is good with green eyes, not as harsh as a black and closer to mascara color than a brown. Works great together with Everything Mascara in Black. Bobbi's Ultra Precise brush is a necessity for this--just the right combination of fullness and tiny point. Occasionally consistency will be too dry or dries out too quickly, but Nordstrom's return policy takes care of that. Don't give up, return it and try another.
I got the Ivy one because it was the least boring color available. It looked like an unattractive, muddled color on me that was slightly worse than black or brown. These gel liners are difficult to put on correctly, in a flattering way, and you need a special liner brush for it.
