Elka's in more Colors Wanted!

I have a pair of Mephisto Elka's in tan suede I bought in 2002 - they are now 9 years old. I wear them almost everday. They give tremendous heel and arch support. The first two weeks they were stiff but after that my foot meshed into the cork footbed and they were perfect, like custom made for me.
I had two back surgeries in 2002, and have plantar heel fasciitis, so I have bad back and foot pain. These shoes are my #1 shoe, and 1 of 3 that I can wear without pain. I have a closetful of shoes of course. I can live with the fact they are not the most stylish but I have worn them with everything but business suits. They have just enough heel so you don't feel dowdy. They accomodate swelling feet.
Why am I not buying more? Because I'm not fond of the offered colors. Nordstrom's or Mephisto's needs to offer more colors. Bring back a light tan suede! How about a leopard print? I would die for a white pair. So instead today, sadly I am shopping other brands.

My favorite sandal

The 'Elka' sandal, is by far my favorite style of Mephisto shoes. This is my 5th pair and counting. The color, grey etna, is very elegant and can be worn dressed up or down. I love the slight heel, which gives me some height without being hard to walk in, for hours sometimes. These shoes are totally worth the money, great quality and workmanship. My black patent leather Elka's are 14 years old and still going strong!!
I loved it. Showed it to a family member and she too is going to order it. Great walking shoe with pizazz.

Just wonderful

This is my 5th or 6th pair of these shoes. I just love them! They are not only very flattering but they are most comfortable too. I can wear them anywhere, for any occasion or just plain walking. I just hope Mephisto keeps making them. I would like them in different colors like purple and white.
