I read a lot reviews before I purchased very different kind of facial cleanser than used to..but it makes you slow down take the time to enjoy the process....really like it ...over the yrs have used a lot of cleansers..slap it on rinse off....with this truly relax ...and smells great citrus ..
I have very dry sensitive skin and it is difficult for me to find a cleanser that works well for my skin. The balm rinse definitely is not a great product for me. My skin looked worse after using it off and on for 3-4 weeks. It left my skin feeling greasy, not soft, even after thoroughly rinsing it away.
Nice balm, but it's more of a gel texture than an oil, which is what I was expecting. I find that I really have to massage the product into my skin, which is fine, except for around my eyes. It's too stiff of a product to take eye makeup off.
As someone with normal skin that tends to be drier during winter, I was excited to try this out. I normally use the Clinique balm during fall and winter to avoid dry or irritated skin. I was hoping for something a bit more luxurious but I'm going to stick with the Clinique product (that's not perfect btw but better than this one.)
First, it smells wonderful. It also looks wonderful on the counter or in the medicine cabinet. (Yes, it would be a hassle to travel with but you could easily decant some into a cheap contact lens container or an old lip balm pot or something like that and you would have enough to last you for a long weekend or more. ) But it's not really moisturizing and I found it to be very irritating around the eye and lip area.
It also was not moisturizing. It left my skin feeling tight (it normally does not feel like this.)
Bottom line: Pricey and not really for drier or delicate skin. If you love it, consider a little creative decanting for travel. It's the perfect non-drippy formula to take with you in a different container.
