Gooey mess!

Reviews of this were good but I cannot imagine why. It is a sticky, gooey gross yellow mess. I found the texture and smell unbearable. It was like spreading honey in your face, with the smell of Pledge. Didn’t really remove my foundation and doesn’t rinse clean. The container is enormous and heavy...it won’t fit in a medicine cabinet.
If you like cleansing balms there are many options a thousand times better - Clinique. Estee, Dermalogica, even Ponds balm. But steer clear of this.
I change up my moisturizers and creams pretty regularly - but this cleanser is the one thing I never change. It goes on like honey - lovely to massage into my skin. Then when I add warm water I get a creamy lather! Leaves skin feeling very clean and moisturized. I also remove eye makeup with it. This cleanser, along with the Bobbi Brown Extra Repair Serum are my two skincare staples.
I've been a Bobbi Brown fan for years, yet I never tried this product until this year - and now I'm addicted! The scent is invigoratingly orange and the name balm fits the feel. I rub it between my hands together to warm and loosen it, then gently massage my face like my skin therapist does. When rinsed off it foams slightly and feels like it's left your face. Both my hands and my face feel moisturized and cleansed.
