I use this to fill in my brows, but if I had to use this or their pencil I would prefer the pencil. I have a hard time blending the product so that it looks natural. I prefer an eyebrow pencil over the shadow. Less work in my opinion.

The texture is nice, works well for brows. I wet my brow brush with water and apply.
